2 weeks ago, I was struck in a crosswalk heading to work. I fractured my left hand and injured my left knee. Due to the injury, St. Mary's had to let me go from my job. They are all about safety with the forklifts, and they cannot have me working injured due to liability. The insurance is going to be a time process. With all the medical info & medical bills.

I am currently looking for work and shelter right now. Any kind of work right now, something light on the hand until it heals. The Grace Home I was living at also had to discharge me from the program due to my injury and non-work. The program requires all tenants to be working. They do not accept Social Security, disability, or injury while in the program or upon entry. I have applied for unemployment just until I can find something else.

These last 2 weeks have been extremely stressful. I haven't been able to make any money. It's been one thing after another. It's like a domino effect tumbling, and it won't stop, even when doing the right thing. I have to stay strong and continue to allow the Lord to work within me. He's all that I have right now.

At the moment, I am homeless seeking shelter. I have an 8-year-old service dog named Purseypie. She's my everything. She's a small Pug/Min Pin mix. She's very sweet and loving. It would just be her and me. If anyone's looking for a roommate or knows of any kind of shelter that will take dogs with me, please let me know.

I have a lot of skills. I'm a very neat person, very hard-working, and very respectful with a great sense of humor. I have tried other programs, but they do not accept dogs. I am pretty much desperate at this point. Please, somebody work me a miracle. Anything helps just to keep my phone on, dog food & to possibly get a weekly stay so that I'm not in the cold. It's getting really chilly at night. This has been a very rough year for me. I'm still staying strong. Anything helps. God bless & love you all
