Help Overcome Financial Struggles and Stay Afloat

I've gotten things into a mess again. My finances have been precarious since I retired in 2010, and I've gotten through some tough times. I'm consolidating my credit cards through a debt agency. I've been trying to chip away at my short-term needs, but it's getting worse. Even with my credit card payments reduced by half under the consolidation, dropping cable, dropping chiropractic, etc., my expenses are higher than my income. Immediate needs are about $500 in the next 4 days to make it to the end of the month without a disaster of some sort. Then about $2000 in short-term stuff like high-interest loans not covered by the consolidation, annual charges (like Zoom, my website), and other one-time items. I have property taxes coming up in 2005 that I need to pay to keep my house, and they're a lot. I applied for help with that but never heard back, so I think they lost my application and I'll need to try again. Plus, I have my second knee replacement coming up, and there are charges for surgery & any hospitalization.

I want to give something back for people's kindness, and I've been trying to do that all along. Running Festival of the Living Rooms is a LOT of work, and I set out to make it free and keep it free.

I want to give people something back for their donations, but I think right now the best I can do is try to keep myself in one piece.

Anything you can give will help, and the sooner the better.

THANK YOU!!!
