Help Overcome Financial Strain Post Liver Transplant

Donation protected

(The picture is my tummy, with what they call Mercedes incision)

In October, I was getting ready to go to work. I stood up and my legs buckled under me, I was unable to get up. I was taken to hospital by EMTs. From the local hospital, I was transferred to Froedtert in Milwaukee. I was unable to walk. I was put thru a battery of tests. My liver failed. I have been in medication for a rare autoimmune disease since 2012.

while in Milwaukee, I had bleeds that they could not find. I had many scopes and they found a lesion in my esphagus. I was given 7 units of blood throughout this. I was also put into a coma.

At the end of November, I was put on the liver transplant list. They found a liver match for me and I received the generous, life-saving transplant on November 25th. I was transferred from froedtert to Green Bay rehab in mid-December. I was just released from rehab and am staying with my sister until home health releases me to be able to go home by myself.

I see OT and PT two times a week and a home health nurse comes one time a week.

I have not been able to work since October. I have many monthly bills that are way behind since I have no income. I am asking if anyone can help at all. My family is not in a position to help, but they have been selling my personal items to try to pay my utilities etc. I am hoping to get some monetary assistance to get me caught up on some bills. I know that stress is not ideal for my healing process but it weighs on my mind. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.
