I'm not one to usually ask for help. I try to do everything by myself and over-function and take on the world. Unfortunately, I broke my leg horribly this past week and am now unable to do ANYTHING by myself, including use the bathroom. I am now wheelchair/walker bound. I will be out of work and non-weight-bearing for 6 weeks at least. I was already living paycheck to paycheck, trying to catch up from when I was unexpectedly fired from my dream job right before Christmas. I was uninsured when I broke my leg due to being in my 90-day period at my new job. Thankfully, my new job immediately began my coverage early and retroacted it a few days once they heard what happened to me. I will still have a $3500 deductible to meet. I had to use EMS, have surgery, and be inpatient for a couple of days at the hospital, so I know the medical cost will be high. I'm even more worried about paying my regular bills and having money to feed myself during this time. Please consider helping. I've had a long string of bad luck lately, and I need to try to keep my head above water and make it through this. My aunt, uncle, fiancé, and mother-in-law are sacrificing a lot to care for me day and night. But my family doesn't have the resources to financially help in this situation.
