I recently lost my job and immediately after, got an infection in my foot. Then, surprisingly, they took my left leg below the knee. My insurance covers most things, but my meds are around $120 a week.
My family helps a lot, but financially it's draining, and this was suggested to me. I had one last time I had cancer, which was successfully removed. Thank you all who helped. So, I made this. Last time, I could try and make money; I could move around on my own, do stairs, but now I can barely do a thing. Everyone treats me like I am fragile. Even the bathroom is a 20-minute project. Grass and carpet? I need someone to push me. I'm filing for SSDI and have a case to pursue against the first hospital I saw that accelerated my infection and is basically to blame for the Bactrim-resistant MRSA getting so bad that my foot had to be carved up like a turkey, then cut off days later. But all that will take months. Until then, I have no way to buy my own prescriptions, food, medical supplies, really anything. My family will help, but it's a lot to put on one person. Please, I need help.
