Hello. I am so frustrated and humiliated that it has come to this, but I am in desperate need of help. I was laid off from my job at Amazon in June after I ended up in the hospital for trying to commit suicide due to extreme burnout and I haven't been able to find work. I was offered severance, but Amazon still hasn't paid it and I haven't been able to get any support from them to figure out why. I've called every day and still, there isn't any movement. Last week, my card declined trying to pay for my medication, and I'm beginning to run out of food. It's only a matter of time before my utilities are shut off and the foreclosure process begins on my house. I've listed my dogs on Craigslist to find a new home for them because I can no longer provide for them. I am so heartbroken and defeated. I've been going to therapy every day to recover from my mental health crisis, but I am so scared right now and I don't know what to do. I am humbly asking for financial assistance and support so I can afford food, medication, and to take care of my dogs while I figure out what I'm going to do. I am so sad that it has come to this - I pride myself on being a responsible and hard-working person. But I would be eternally grateful for any help and generosity that can be spared.
