Update to Jason's story....

After he posted this Go Fund me page he has several more surgeries and lots of complications. He lost his ability to walk as well. He was constantly have adverse reactions to medications. He had to have dialysis for several months to clean his blood and help his kidneys recover and work properly again. He was doing everything in his power to become healthy again and come home to his family. He spent a total of 9 months in the hospital. He survived 8 surgeries almost dying 4 times. Unfortunately he became septic and he passed away on February 27 2026.

A close friend of Jason's suggested I update Jason's story.

So with that being said he left behind two children and a wife that he supported with everything he had. Now with him gone they are having a tough time. His wife is trying to find a job now to take care of her family. As the sole supporter of the family it's taken toll on the family. Any help would be appreciated.

We already appreciate all the help given to us already. Unfortunately we are asking for help again.

I went into the hospital for colon cancer surgery. I was expecting a fast recovery and getting back to work. Unfortunately, I have had complications and internal bleeding. I almost died. I have had 3 surgeries now and I am looking at a long recovery period.

I am still in the hospital and when I get out, it will have been almost 2 months in the hospital. I can't return to work right now. I will probably end up on disability, but that takes time. Anything you can do to help would be amazing for my family.
