Hello Everyone

Last year, I was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer and had my first surgery. I then had radioactive iodine treatment (RAI) and chemo in December 2024. It was unsuccessful, and my cancer returned in May 2025. I had my second surgery on June 21, 2025. During surgery, they injured a nerve, which has left me with tons of physical therapy and unable to return to work. The cancer has metastasized to my lungs. I will be undergoing more treatments between the RAI (which will require me to isolate from everyone for 14 days) and chemo. This turn of events has definitely taken a toll on us and our family, not only emotionally but financially. I have been the sole provider for our insurance benefits and we recently have lost our benefits. We have both used all of our sick days and vacation time. Anything helps, including everyone’s prayers and a simple share.
