My dog Oveeo has been with me for 12 years and through so many seasons of my life, both big and small. He’s more than just my dog… he’s my everything.
A few days ago, I had a really scary moment with him. He got sick after swallowing something he shouldn’t have, and I rushed him to the vet thinking it would be a quick fix. Thankfully, that part seems to be passing on its own. But during the X-rays, they found something we weren’t expecting; a large bladder stone, along with smaller stones and a urinary tract infection.
The vet explained that while the infection can be treated with antibiotics, the stones are a bigger concern. They’re causing irritation and pain, and the smaller ones could move and create a blockage, which would be life-threatening.
Oveeo is now scheduled for bladder surgery to remove the large stone and prevent that from happening. Right now, I’m watching him closely, giving him his medication, and hoping he stays comfortable until surgery.
It’s been really hard seeing him like this. He’s still his sweet, loving self, but I can tell when something isn’t right and he’s uncomfortable. It’s tough knowing he needs serious help that I wasn’t prepared for financially.
I’m asking for help to cover the cost of his surgery. Anything you can give, or even just sharing this, would mean so much to us.
Oveeo has given me so much love over the years. I just want to be able to show up for him the way he’s always shown up for me.
Thank you for taking the time to read this
