The Switzki family has reached a point where they could use your help. Matt fought stage IV cancer for two and a half years. He passed away peacefully in his home, where he was surrounded by the people dearest to him; Tricia, Kane, Elin, his parents, and Tricia's mom. They had told Matt he had six months to live, and as strong as we all know he is, he beat those odds and never gave up his fight to the very end.
Tricia is reluctantly accepting financial help. She has never asked for help through it all. So many people have asked what they can do to help, and this is one way we can all make her life a little more comfortable. She was always Matt's rock and had been there with him every step of the way, 24/7. There will be medical bills coming in that Tricia will have to find a way to pay. She has been working full time, being a mom to Kane and Elin, and a care-taker for Matt for so long. She hasn't looked at bills in months, because she wouldn't leave Matt's side when he was in the hospital. He was her only focus, as it should have been. Any amount you could donate to the family, would be wisely used as she see fits.
If your son or daughter are on a team or activity with Kane or Elin this year, offer to drive or car pool to help Tricia out. She has amazing family to be there for her, but sometimes something as simple as driving her kids, can be the biggest help. Keeping Kane and Elin entertained, happy, and busy means more to Tricia than you could ever know.
