Life has a way of finding us and kicking us when we are down. It is for this reason that I’m writing this letter and asking for any help you can give.
My name is Kathleen and I have set up this request for my sister Anastasia and her husband Steve with their four young children living at home and two adult children whom are out on their own.
Due to the shut down (thanks to Covid) Steve like so many had his job suspended with no end in sight. He was luckily able to find odd jobs due to his immense skill as a carpenter. It was due to this skill that he was up on a roof when he fell a great distance to the ground and smashed his hip, three days ago. He was rushed to Red Deer and received hip surgery yesterday August 13th. The good surgeon was able to repair his hip, and has given Steve the understanding if the repair doesn’t take he will need a full hip replacement.
Well due to hard times I am asking for help for them to pay bills with any luck for the three to four months it will take to heal fully and get back up on his feet to get a job.
