Help out Teg! Cancer found on neonatal ultrasound.
Donation protected
My sister in law Tegan lived on the Gold Coast for almost 30 years. In this time she was an active community member. She coached basketball at the Gold Coast Rollers, worked at Little Explorers Daycare in Worongary, got her Bachelor of Primary Education from Griffith Uni and taught for Education Qld before moving to the USA. She is now married to a US military man and has two beautiful boys, 3 years old and 18 months. Tegan has been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. The cancer was only found during her 20 week ultrasound of her unborn child (son number 3). Faced with such an unexpected and difficult circumstance we are staying positive, staying strong and we know Tegan will beat this!!
Tegan has love all over the world. She has traveled widely when young and values every friend in every country she has made. She is an amazing and loving daughter, sister, aunt, teacher and friend. But most importantly, she is a very beloved wife and mother. The thought of her three little boys (and her two beloved dogs) growing up without her is just heart-wrenching.
As Tegan is 26 weeks pregnant ,with fortnightly chemotherapy treatments, the early birth of her third child followed by cancer removal surgery, Our family is split at home on Gold Coast and in Texas USA to support Tegan and her husband Phil as they navigate medical appointments, US cancer centres and cancer trials.
Go Fund Me donations will be used to help fund flights and accommodations to cancer centers where Tegan has been accepted and may have trials, plus help support any out-of-pocket medical expenses. Also, future expenses that come with growing children.
Every little bit helps. Please share this link and donate if you can. That’s what Teg would do ❤️
