As some of you may know, our fellow Chrisman Bear, last year's Independence Schools Starfish award winner Miss Carla Marrs, has recently had back surgery.  What you may NOT know is that she is still in a lot of pain, and has been unable to come back to work and see the kids she loves so much. Her circumstance of having to remain out on disability insurance has put a strain on her finances. Now, added to her constant pain, she worries about utilities and food.  This wonderful woman has been through so much. I know Carla- SHE would never ask for help- as her friends, let's step in and help her now when she needs it.
