Mike O'Reilley is a man who needs no introduction in this town, but for those of you who don't know, this man is the heart of Miramichi. Mr. O'Reilley was the owner of Ben's Lunchroom, a family business that was passed down to him by his father. In its time, Ben's was the place to be for a late-night bite and was a Miramichi staple. For reasons out of his control, unfortunately, Ben's had to close its doors. He was, fortunately, able to retrieve his family's items from the building that were being unlawfully withheld, but shortly thereafter lost them to a fire. But his misfortune didn't end there.

Mike has suffered from a stroke and has lost his sight.

This man has worked long and hard, working 2 jobs after the loss of his business, but he needs our help now more than ever. Though it took some convincing (Mike is a private person) he's agreed to let us reach out to the community for support.

I know what this community is capable of, and I know how well-loved and respected Mr. O'Reilley is. Even a dollar or two will make a difference, or simply sharing the fundraiser.
