Mark starts the great new job in Mojave on Monday Feb 18th.  We're excited but also concerned.   We're broke.  And I mean, broke.  We started out 7  months ago with enough put away to make the move for the first offer, but thanks to the long fruitless delays with no income coming in, we are now  totally and completely tapped out.  (We were put further at disadvantage by Mark's bicycle accident that kept him out of work for a month in the Spring.  )

This is hard to do.  You know we're usually quick to help others when we can -- but it's difficult to be in the reverse.  Mortifying.  But if you're friends of ours, I know you already understand.  We wouldn't ask if we didn't need to.  We can't get to the job, or afford to live anywhere once we get there, until his paychecks start coming in.

We're very excited about this new chapter -- the job is incredible, a dream job for Mark at Virgin Galactic/Spaceship.  We are very relieved and appreciative of our good fortune.  But we need a little help from our friends.  Any amount helps -- even $5, $10.  It adds up.
