Hi my name is Whitney and I, along with Her Wilderness are asking our community to help raise money for an amazing outdoors woman and mother, Makayla Jacobs, who has recently lost her significant other, Ryley.

We are asking our friends in the outdoor community to come together to help raise funds so that she can join us on a Snow Goose hunt this March. MaKayla signed up for this hunt through Her Wilderness a few weeks back and this is something that she has been looking forward to. She knows Ryley would want her to continue to do stuff like this and ultimately keep hunting. If anyone knows Makayla, they know her love for the outdoors, whether it be fishing or hunting, her chickens and ducks, and her love for her daughter Lila. With Ryley’s passing there will be a lot of heavy things on MaKayla’s plate and overall a lot of sadness in her heart. We want to do this for her so that she has something positive to look forward to during this extremely difficult time. It would be great if we can raise a total of $1,500 to cover the cost of her hunt, tip, meals, fuel, shells, etc. We know this won’t ever take the pain away but maybe this light gesture can help fill her empty cup, and give her some strength to keep pushing forward.

Any donations made past the goal mark will go towards any bills Makayla may have and any expenses for her and Lila. We want to make sure MaKayla and Lila are able to live out Ryley's dreams and legacy each and everyday in everything they do.
