Ian, our favorite J&L clerk, has been given notice to vacate his home at the end of the month. He’s been renting a room there for six years and now they are selling the house.

 

Rents are expensive and he will need to come up with first, last and deposit. Given that the maximum rent he can afford is $600, he may have to live outside of Crockett. So I’m fundraising for moving costs and some wheels.

 

He’s been serving our little community at J&L for TWELVE years! Always with a friendly smile, even after being held up at gunpoint three times. He’s still here, he’s still nice to everyone, he’s still smiling. If you’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting him, you know what an awesome guy he is and maybe you can kick down a little donation to help him find a new home?

 

If you can’t help financially, maybe you have a room to spare or know someone who does. Or a car you are willing to part with for cheap, or even free. He needs a place he can stay long-term. He’s willing to do a work trade with animal care or other tasks around the home or yard. He does smoke tobacco, but only outside and he doesn’t drink alcohol & no drugs.
