A couple weeks ago Frank started getting dizzy spells and was having a hard time walking. After being out of work for several weeks and having multiple doctors try to figure out whats wrong with him they did a MRI. The MRI revealed that he had a mass on his lungs. The MRI also revealed that he had something wrong with his brain which would explain the dizzy spells and hard time walking. His doctor wanted to meet with Frank and mom right away. He let them know that he had lung cancer and it spread to the brain causing brain tumors.
Mom and Frank have been running around to doctors and specialist. The one nuro oncologist wants to get him into a trail procedure, pending insurance approval, that would be using high doses of radiation to the over 20 spots of cancer in the brain. This trial has a high success rate so far so we are hopeful it could help him.
Frank has stated multiple times that he wants to live. Hes not ready to die yet. He wants to watch his grandson grow up and play with him. We have all had a rough couple of days and we know it will only get worse before it hopefully gets better.
If you know Mom and Frank you know how much they are willing to help others. You also know how stubborn they both are (and this is coming from their stubborn son. I guess it runs in the family ha ha) Its not like them to ask for help from family and friends. That is why I'm making a team to help support them during this difficult time.
These funds will go directly to Frank and Janet to help out with the expenses insurance wont cover. The cost of driving back and forth from the hospital. The cost of the medications we will be put on throughout this hole ordeal. To help pay the bills they will have pilling up while both of them are out of work. Any amount will help
With this diagnosis we don't know how much longer we will have Frank around. If you could please take the time to donate and help us with this financial emergency we would greatly appreciate it.
