Hello, my name is Samuel Garcia Jr., though in the film world I go by my director name, “Syn.”

I am a senior Digital Media & Film major at SUNY New Paltz, and I’m thrilled to be working on my very first film. This project represents the culmination of my studies, passion, and creative vision but I can’t bring it to life without your support.

This short film will be a horror proof of concept, designed to expand into a larger franchise. What makes it unique is its focus on a scarecrow protagonist, a concept rarely explored in the horror genre. We believe there’s a void in today’s horror scene that this project can fill, delivering something both chilling and original.

Funds raised will go directly toward set design, location rentals, and production costs, ensuring that the film is produced at the highest quality possible.
