Hello all a local Resident of Windsor Locks is need of assistance. Back in early August while in Washington DC Mark Hancock suffered a stoke. He spent a few months in the hospital recovering and has now just come back to Windsor Locks. He has no savings left as it was all drained from being in the hospital. I am trying to ask for assisting Mark in help getting some bills paid and also help to get him some money for food and other medications that he will need. He is currently applying for assistance from the state for medical and disability insurance. He wants to become independent again and hopefully fully recover where he can return to work. We have a great group of people helping on the 24th to get his yard back in shape. Anything you could do to help out a life long resident in town would be great. Mark was a big part of Windsor Locks Little League many years ago as a umpire and scorekeeper. He has served on the Board of Ed and has been a substitute teacher in town. Please find it in your hearts to give a little and help out Mr. Hancock.
