In today’s society it is all but common for anyone confronted with the sounds of smashing glass and a women’s screams to pick up the phone to call the police to deal with & confront whatever unnerving situation it is.
It’s also common for today’s man instead of picking up the phone to call for help to record whatever is going on instead.
There are still good people in this world who instead of hiding from a women’s screams, run towards it.
This man, a single Dad of three has returned home from work to hear the sounds of smashing glass and a blood chilling woman’s scream for help. Without a second thought this man ran towards an unknown danger in order to protect their fellow man.
This man jumped fences following these screams for help. He was confronted by three men committing an aggravated burglary on the women’s house in the day light hours.
These men set upon this man, this good man who had all good intentions for helping and protecting this unknown woman who was in danger.
This man fought and pinned down two of these cowardly evil men when the third cowardly and evil man attacked this man by hitting him multiple times in the head, back and legs with a machete.
This man continued to fight, when these cowardly and evil men produced a firearm threatening his life and threatening to come back for him.
Unfortunately these cowardly and evil men got away but this man has shown the unsung bravery and willingness to sacrifice himself in order to save another he did not even know.
When I asked this man would he do it again considering the physical and psychological trauma he had endured his response...in a heart beat.
There is not enough men in this world like him, those whose first instinct is to protect his fellow man. This man has not voluntarily signed up and vowed to protect others like the police, a soldier, a firefighter. This man is a rarity in today’s society and if this world was filled with men like him, what a beautiful world it would be.
This mans name is Russell Irwin he sustained a skull fracture, multiple deep lacerations to his head, lacerations to his back and a puncture wound to his leg. Russell requires neuro surgery. Russell is a single Dad and won’t be able to return to work for some time.
I am reaching out to all those good people in this world to chip in a few dollars to give this good man a break. To allow his wounds to heal without having the financial burden of not being able to work due to his injuries. Please help in making any donation you can to this good man to assist him and his family with pending medical bills and loss of income to sustain everyday living.
