Help out a friend living in her car to get housing

Hi folks, I am raising funds for my good friend who is currently living in her car in Seattle. She is not only a friend, but she is a serious activist worker and supporter of social housing through the Seattle Social Housing Board which I serve on. Living in your car, as some of us know, makes you extremely vulnerable to all sorts of dangerous situations, and the police in this town offer no real assistance if you get attacked or have your resources jacked. Given the wonderful person she is, and the significant work she is doing for the cause of social housing in this city, I am putting this out here to give her some resources that might alleviate the vulnerable situation she is in, while she navigates the byzantine bureaucracy homeless people have to go through to get stable housing in this city.

I will ensure she receives any funds as quickly as possible. Any donation will do, though I encourage you all to be generous. I would also ask that you spread this through your own social networks so she has the largest possible reach of potential donors.
