# Help Our Youth Make Their Dream Trip to Chile Come True ✨

We are Encantos del Folclor, a non-profit cultural organization made up of 25 children and young people who share a deep love for Chilean culture, dance, music, and community. Through folklore, friendship, and teamwork, we work to create a safe and inspiring place where our youth can grow with confidence, joy, and pride in their roots.

For many of our youth, Chile is more than a country — it is part of their identity, their family history, and their hearts. Many of them were born far away from their parents’ homeland and have never had the opportunity to travel to Chile before. For them, this is not simply a vacation. It is a dream they have carried for many years.

It is the dream of finally seeing the country of their parents and grandparents, hearing the language around them, discovering the traditions, tasting the food, and feeling connected to the culture they have proudly carried in their hearts while growing up far from their homeland.

Through dance and music, our youth have worked with love and dedication to preserve Chilean traditions in Sweden. They have spent countless hours learning folklore, performing for the community, and sharing their culture with pride. Now, they dream of experiencing that culture with their own eyes and hearts.

One of the most meaningful dreams for our group is to travel to Rapa Nui (Easter Island), a magical and unique part of Chilean culture. Our youth listen to Rapa Nui music, admire its traditions, and dream of learning more about its dances, legends, history, and spirit directly from the island itself. They want to experience the beauty and energy of Rapa Nui and bring that knowledge back to share with our community in Sweden.

At the same time, they also wish to spend time in Chile learning more about Cueca, Chile’s national dance, so they can continue honoring and preserving these traditions for future generations.

We are also hoping to purchase traditional Rapa Nui costumes so our young dancers can continue representing this beautiful culture through their performances with authenticity, respect, and pride.

Many families are already making huge efforts to raise money through bingo nights, raffles, food sales, and community activities. Everyone is doing their very best. But the costs of flights, transportation, accommodation, and traditional costumes are still very high, and that is why we humbly ask for your support.
