Help our youth attend music camp!

I am the pastor’s wife of Garfield Ridge Baptist Church and I am helping our youth. We are trying to raise money to attend a music camp!

We would be thankful for monetary or any in-kind support you might be able to provide. Your contribution will directly impact our youth’s ability to attend Falls Baptist Music School for music in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. This intensive, week-long program will be held August 5-9 from 9am-8:30pm. The cost for each student to attend is $375 which includes music classes, housing, and meals. At the conclusion of the program, they hold a concert, which friends and family are invited to attend to witness how much the students have learned.

Our goal is to raise $3,750 for our group to attend this music program. Music is a vital part of our church ministry and this opportunity will help develop and further improve our youth’s leadership and music skills. Any amount, no matter how big or small, will make a significant difference in our efforts.

We kindly ask that you take a moment to consider our cause and the difference your support can make for us! Your assistance will further nourish the youth’s desire to use their talents and serve in the church ministry. This, in turn, continues the work that our church has been doing for 65 years and ensures leaders and stewards in the future.

Each of the families of these young people have invested and committed time and money in instruments and lessons, but now we need your HELP!

Below is a list of our youth group members and their ages, that have expressed their desire to attend camp:

• C.J. (18) – He has been playing the saxophone for 2 years. He wants to learn cello.

• Chloe (16) – She has been playing piano for 11 years and the trumpet for 3 years. She would like to learn cello.

• Johnny (15) – He has been playing piano for 2 years and the saxophone for 1 year. He would like to improve his piano skills.

• Hannah (13) – She has been playing flute for 2 years. She would like to improve her flute skills.

• Adelyn (12) – She has been playing piano for 7 years and violin for 2 years. She wants to improve her violin skills.

• Samantha (11) – She has been taking piano lessons for 5 years and would like to learn cello.

• Eunice (10) – She has been learning to play the violin.

• Kate (10) - She has been playing the piano for 4 years and wants to learn flute.

• Kallie (10) – She has been playing the piano for 4 years and would like to improve her piano skills.

• Sam (10)- He has been playing the piano for 4 years and would like to learn violin.
