Hello everyone,

I’d like to introduce Nithan. He is currently the State Chess Champion for K–3rd grade in the Oklahoma Scholastic Chess Organization (OSCO), holding the title three times—and he’s only eight years old.

This year, this young chess prodigy has been invited to the US National Chess Championships in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where the 126th US Chess Championships are being held.

We are asking for your support in getting him there, along with his mother and chess coach. Your support is needed to help us reach our goal of $6,975.00 to cover the cost of round-trip airfares, food for six days, tournament fees, and six days and five nights at the recommended Amway Grand Plaza Hotel, which is next door to the DeVos Place Convention Center where the chess tournament is being held.

Nithan will compete against 53 other players for the National Championship. Oklahoma will be well represented with Nithan and five other team members.
