Help our young athletes finish this Season with EASE

Hi, my name is Armen (Coach Boogie) Dollar. I work full-time as a property inspector for the city of Rochester, but after work, I invest a lot of my time helping our inner-city athletes, strive for excellence not only on the basketball court but in life. I created a basketball program called E.A.S.E (Encouraging Athletes to Strive for Excellence), and for the past 7 years, we have worked with over 300 athletes and families.

This season has been an unforgettable journey for our EASE basketball family.

From competing in over 10 weekend tournaments—both locally and out of town—to committing to the prestigious MADE Hoops Challenger Circuit, our players have stepped up and grown tremendously. For the first time in our program’s history, we have two teams ranked in the Top 15 nationally—currently sitting at 8th and 11th place.

Our next journey is to Baltimore, Maryland, for the MADE Hoops Championship Bracket from the 17th - 20th, and we have a real chance to walk away with #1 rankings in both age divisions. This is a monumental moment for our program—and for our boys.

But we can’t get there without your support.

EASE Elite is more than just a basketball program—it’s a brotherhood, a mentorship platform, and a lifeline for inner-city youth who face daily financial hardships and obstacles. Despite the challenges, our coaches and a few dedicated parents have poured their time, energy, and personal finances into making sure these young athletes never miss an opportunity.

Now, we’re asking our community to help us cross the finish line.

We are seeking to raise $3,000 to help with:

Travel arrangements and transportation for our players and coaches

Meals throughout the tournament week

Hotel stays for families who have not been able to afford traveling before

The opportunity for parents to see their children compete on one of the biggest stages in youth basketball

This isn’t just a tournament—it’s a chance for these boys to showcase their talent in front of scouts, build lifelong memories, and see how far their hard work and dedication can take them.
