Help Our Winter Park FC 2010 Boys Go to Regionals
Donation protected
We are excited to announce that the Winter Park FC 2010 Select team has won the Florida Presidents Cup for their age group. This group of talented soccer players will represent the state of Florida for their age group in the Southern President Cup finals and they need your support. As a small local club, we are depending on donations from kind and generous donors like yourself. This team of 12 to 13-year-old boys has worked very hard to beat the top teams in Florida. They are now headed to South Carolina to represent Florida for the USYS Southern Presidents Cup event taking place June 14th-18th. The team's goal is to raise $18,000 to help the players' families pay for hotel, travel, and food expenses for 5 days. The hotel alone will cost each family $1,000. We have 18 players and their families making the trip. The boys are currently raising money at local Publix stores and asking for donations from local small businesses. Please consider donating any amount of money to help our Winter Park FC 2010 Select team get to South Carolina.
This particular team, Winter Park FC 2010 Select, began as a recreational team with just 8 players, ages 7 to 8 years old. Paul Robins, Winter Park FC's owner and the team's head coach, with his English coaching style, technical work, and focus on building a consistent standard for the team, turned the 8-player team into his first competitive side. Now with 2009 and 2010 competitive teams, came success which helped to grow the club and attract new talent. The present Winter Park FC 2010 Select team still has 6 original players and with the added talent over the years has risen as a top team in Florida. To credit the coach and all the players for their determination, commitment to each other, and the parents believing in the process, fast forward to 2023- Winter Park FC 2010 select are 2023 FYSA President Cup- State Champions.
Thank you for supporting our team on its journey toward winning the South Region President's Cup. If our team wins the South Region, they will continue to Nationals in Wichita, Kansas. We wish these boys the best in their endeavor to become National Champions!!!
