Help Our Volunteer Coaches with Expenses

Coach Solomon and Coach Allen are volunteer coaches for the Ubuntu Basketball Academy's 16U Girls Travel Basketball Team. They volunteer their time, energy, and often their financial resources to help develop a great group of young ladies to reach their potential in the sport of basketball, but also to rise to limitless levels as good human beings. The Ubuntu Basketball Academy aims to holistically impact the lives of the players within this powerful grassroots organization. They do this by exposing players to high levels of basketball training, mentoring, media literacy, and life coaching.

This spring and summer (2025), the team is slated to play in three significant out-of-state circuit tournaments, which will be riddled with college basketball recruitment opportunities. It is an awesome opportunity for players within this organization. Last summer, Coach Solomon and Coach Allen incurred a heavy financial burden traveling to each tournament to coach the team. This summer, the two volunteer coaches are seeking the assistance of friends, family, and community in an effort to raise finances to simply lessen the financial burden associated with travel and lodging costs. No donation is too large or small and would be greatly appreciated by both coaches so that they can better afford to travel with the team this season.
