Asalamaualykum,

In this blessed month of Ramadan, we are seeking donations to help complete a safe and easily accessible road for our village back home.

We are raising funds to support our village in Guinea Futa Djallon ( in pita doughol touma kadjel) , where families live in a remote mountain area that is extremely difficult — and dangerous — to travel. During the rainy season, this path becomes even more difficult , especially for the elderly, children, and anyone who is sick or injured.

Many of our loved ones live at the bottom of the mountain and struggle daily just to move between home, markets, medical care, and family. For some of our elderly people, the journey is becoming impossible because there is no road and no vehicle access. People currently rely only on walking dangerous paths, and community members are literally trying to break down parts of the mountain with their own hands to create a safer route.

Our goal is to raise funds to rent proper machines from the city in Conakry and transport it to our village (Futa) so we can safely clear a road

through the mountain. With the machines, what would take years of manual labor can be done much faster and safely. This road would change the life of our community. As the Prophet ﷺ said: “Charity does not decrease wealth.”

Every donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to building a safe path for our community and protecting the lives of our elders and children. May Allah SWT reward you.
