Hi my name is Ariana. My boyfriend Kevin and I are desperately trying to keep our dog Venus alive. A couple of days ago she started showing signs of what seemed like a possible UTI. Yesterday she started throwing up uncontrollably. We rushed her to the vet this morning (Christmas eve) where we found out her kidneys are starting to fail due to pee backed up in her bladder. The vet said she does not know what is causing this blockage and how rare it is. They were able to get some pee out of her but unfortunately it wasn’t enough. Venus is on the verge of dying. We rushed Venus across the state to the only ER that will accept new cases on Christmas Eve. Venus is undergoing surgery and will need to stay in the ER for a few days. The bill is expected to be anywhere from $8,000-$10,000. I’m asking all friends and family for help. Any amount will be greatly appreciated even $1. I just want Venus alive and home in time for the new year.
