Help our Tuco with veterinary bills and aftercare

On Thursday the 27th of March, Tuco was unfortunately struck by a car in the early hours of the morning.

He has sustained some life changing injuries with his tail having to be amputated due to it being degloved and his pelvis being broken and shifted upwards, he also cannot walk on his back legs or go to the toilet by himself until his injuries recover as they are on his back area. I am draining his urine every 3-4 hours via a urethral catheter sewn into his penis and administering micro enemas to aid him in passing stools where he has nerve damage and cannot push or strain.

I have to take time out of work to look after him as we need to have a strict supervision and manually feed Tuco with a syringe for an indefinite period of time which is making the bills harder to pay for.

If he is still unable to get some strength back in his legs in the next few weeks then it is possible he will have to undergo a CT scan to see if his spinal cord is damaged/severed.

The vets have said that there is no need for him to be put to sleep as long as he is receiving his treatment which we are struggling to make ends meet.

Tuco is a sweet boy who has been a great benefit towards my mental health in the past 2 years, where I lived on my own for a portion of that time, he helped me to cope immensely. He is my best friend.
