Help Our Trans Family Stay Afloat

Greetings!

My spouse and I are two trans people living in SoCal together; I'm a trans woman, and he's transmasc and non-binary. Unfortunately, my spouse has been out of work for more than a year, and things are getting increasingly tight. SoCal is expensive at the best of times, and that long on only one income is certainly not that. At this much, we're running low on emergency options to keep limping along.

On top of rent, groceries, utilities, etc., we have some expensive maintenance coming up on the car; it's closing in on 100,000 miles, and that's never a cheap milestone for a car. We also have an asthmatic cat, and the ideal treatment for him, a fluticasone inhaler, is out of range for us. Worse, it's a pre-existing condition, so our pet health insurance won't help us with it. We're keeping his asthma attacks under control with regular Depo-Medrol shots, but those have cumulative long-term side effects that have me very worried.

Our goal is to raise enough to keep on going until my spouse lands a job, cover the 100k maintenance on the car, and cover any other emergency expensives that crop up.
