Help our TomTom walk again!

Hi everyone,
Ford and I don't usually like to do this but we need your help. Our beloved TomTom last night had a freak accident and was just running down a hill when he screamed and his back legs gave out out on him completely. We rushed him to the ER and the vet suspected he had something called Fibrocartilagenous Embolism (FCE) which is: is a stroke-like event within the spinal cord, leaving him paralyzed in his back two legs.
This happens to very active dogs, but unfortunately this is a situation where its not an overnight procedure that can cure this. We will be doing tons of of physical therapy, water therapy, acupuncture, and our own multiple daily massages to try and make his back legs be able to work again. We will have a harness for his back legs so he can try and go to the bathroom.
This is going to be an extensive recovery process and we already feel the support before making this so we cannot thank you enough!!
We do have pet insurance that luckily will cover a good amount of the hospital bill, but there will be many other expenses with medication, therapy etc.
We understand that you are giving us some of your money, so if we exceed any that we don't use, we would love to donate the rest to the humane society or some other animal rescue project.
Thank you, you special humans and if only Tom would lick faces he would give you all the kisses.
