Two months ago, this little pup came into our home and changed our lives in ways we never expected. Thunder is our sweet husky boy, who came to our lives for a reason. Because he’s a rescue, much of his past is a mystery, but we love him dearly.

Recently, Thunder was diagnosed with tonic-clonic (grand mal) seizures. Watching him suffer through episodes we cannot control has been heartbreaking. Due to his condition, the humane society can no longer safely perform his neutering, leaving us with no choice but to seek the procedure through a private veterinarian—an expense far beyond what we ever expected or can currently afford.

This is Huy and I’s first time being pet parents, and we’re doing everything we can to make sure Thunder has the safe, happy life he deserves. But with the holidays approaching, a season that should bring comfort and joy has made us uncertain as we try to navigate his medical needs.
