Help our Temple with security updates

Hello, Everyone! It's me again. Vicki K. Sundara, the temple secretary, in charge of Lao Culture and Heritage Preservation. It's unfortunate that I have to share the news that on October 7th, 2023, our temple was robbed. Thankfully, no one was in the temple at the time and no one was hurt.
Our residing monks are all safe and unharmed as well as our community members. The thieves got away with a lot of materialistic things but we know that can all be replaced in due time. Our community came together strong and prayed hard for everything, including praying for forgiveness for the thieves.
This shows how much our community can come together and stick together through almost anything. What we are looking into, is getting a better security system for our temple. With that, there comes many costs and expenses.
In the past, this was discussed and the cost was always something that stopped the group. I have taken it upon myself to take over the security updates in the temple, to hire the right people/organization and whatever else that might be needed.
Here's where we need help. So many people have reached out and asked how they could help the temple out and we are asking for anyone that wishes to help to donate towards these security updates.
Besides the percentage that GoFundMe takes, all of the money will be used exclusively for modernized security updates for our temple. Thank you in advance to any and everyone that does donate.
**edit for everyone asking** The temple does have cameras. The unfortunate part is that the hard drive was also stolen in all of this and doesn’t appear to have been backed up anywhere.
