On November 12, 2025, our team SPARKS participated in the First Lego League Challenge Australia regional robotics competition.
Sholom, Aaron, Lea, and Luka have scored 340 points when their robot successfully completed its performance. The high score has placed them 65 points ahead of the next runner-up. The team received Engineering Excellence award and Best Robot Performance award.
While they qualified to proceed to the Nationals, the Melbourne-held event is scheduled for Saturday. The team members' commitment to honour Shabbos ( Sabbath) would not allow them to participate.

After reaching out to the organisers, Sparks were given an opportunity to compete on Sunday, November 30, at Griffith University, Gold Coast. This amazing opportunity comes with an additional cost of travelling from Melbourne to Gold Coast. If anyone would like to support the team, your contribution will be very much appreciated.

With love,
Team Sparks
