Help Our Team Make a Difference in Uganda

Hi, my name is Malakai Dangers, and I’m excited to share about an amazing opportunity I have this summer.

This year, my brother Owen and I have the chance to go on a mission trip to Uganda with a team of people. We will be partnering with New Hope Uganda, a non profit organization that is focused on bringing the fatherhood of God to the fatherless. Their mission is to create a safe, loving environment where children can experience God’s love and grow in faith, hope, and purpose.

While we are in Uganda, we’ll be serving in many ways helping at the New Hope church and school, spending time with the kids, building relationships, and sharing the love of Christ. We’ll also be running activities like a soccer camp to connect with the kids through fun and encouragement.

Another exciting part of this trip for me is that I’ll be helping New Hope with video and media work filming, creating content, and helping tell the story of the amazing work God is doing there. I’m grateful for the chance to use my skills to support their ministry and help share their mission with even more people. If I’m able to raise enough extra support, I also plan to leave behind a camera and equipment after we’re gone to bless their team and continue the work.

I’m really excited for how God will use this trip not only to impact the lives of the children and families we meet but also to grow our own faith through service and connection. I know this experience will challenge and stretch us in ways that will help us walk even closer with God.

To make this trip possible, I would love to invite you to support us most importantly through prayer, and if you feel led, financially as well. The total cost of the trip is between $3,000 and $4,000 per person, which covers flights, local transportation, housing, meals, and supplies. Owen and I have both been working to cover some of the cost on our own, and we’re trusting God to provide the rest through the generosity of family, friends, and others who feel called to give.
