Help our Teachers and Staff
Donation protected
To our Kuei Luck Family,
This is a difficult time and we have all needed to adjust our lives in ways that we had likely never foreseen. We hope that you and your families are healthy and safe during this unprecedented time. As many of you know, we have since closed our school in order to protect our staff, their families, students, and their families.
I wanted to touch base with families and respond to current concerns and questions as they evolve.
As a small business, Kuei Luck is responsible for making decisions that are in the best interests of its community and employees. Unfortunately, that meant closing the doors so that we could all remain safe. Doing this means we are unable to contribute to the economic wellbeing of our employees. As a result, our teachers and staff have been laid off. Since our closure, Kuei Luck has been thinking of ways to help our valued staff members during this trying time. As of today, a GoFundMe page will be launched. This is how we are raising money from our community for our team. The forced closure cut the entire Kuei Luck staff’s income and the GoFundMe is a way for us to make up some of the difference while we cannot operate. We are asking you for your support for our staff now more than ever. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to our teachers and staff members. We will divide the collected funds evenly to all staff members. If any staff member feels that they do not need financial assistance, we will divide up their portion evenly among the rest of the staff. Even just a little would go a long way, as every donation helps. Please know that there is no obligation but that we appreciate all of the support.
This is uncharted territory for all of us. Each day brings new challenges, and Kuei Luck will continue to make decisions based on the priorities of our staff and students. As the situation evolves, we will adapt our operations accordingly, and will do our best to keep you informed. You can feel free to email me any time, I promise to respond when I can.
In the meantime, we all have an opportunity to make the best of a very difficult situation. We have a chance to slow down, remember what is really important, spend time with family, and enjoy safe playtime together whether that’s at home, or anywhere else you can find it.
Thank you and be well,
Stephanie
