Help Anika Beat Cancer

Dear family and friends,

Our world has been turned upside down in finding out that our beloved sister, Anika, was diagnosed with cancer at the young age of 37. Anika has a life partner, is a loving mother of two young children, and lives in Orange County, California. She needs our help with medical expenses and family support in the fight for her life.


For the past several weeks, Anika has been experiencing severe abdominal pain. After multiple visits to the ER and doctors, a biopsy has confirmed the diagnosis as cancer. More tests still need to be done to confirm the type of cancer, but we know that it has metastasized (spread), which is not a good sign.

We are asking for your help in covering the expensive and necessary tests and treatments not covered by standard medical insurance to give Anika the best chance of survival. These treatments can cost $10,000-$30,000 per month. Her husband will need to take time off of work without pay to help her, and they have two children ages five and six that will need additional care.

If you’ve ever met Anika, you know her sweet smile, her loving heart, and her generous spirit. She is a warrior and will do everything she can to heal and make it through this.
