About Emily: 
Emily is 7 years old, will be 8 in October. Emily is a very sweet, kind hearted, loving and gentle girl. She’s very selfless and extremely empathetic. She’s full of energy and loves learning to do new things and loves school. Even with her cancer and chemo she’s full of energy and continues to try on her hard days. 

On March 13th, we received the devastating news that our baby girl, Emily, was diagnosed with Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma. Since then it has been a rollercoaster. The cancer has spread all over her body and she’s is at a high risk category (stage 4). She began chemotherapy the 28th of March and has a 67 week cycle of chemotherapy. Everything depends on how her body handles it, but if the doctors see that it’s doing her worse than good, chemotherapy will stop. Our baby has a 0% survival rate without chemotherapy and a 9-10% with chemotherapy and we strongly believe our Emily will be the 9-10% to survive.

April 9th Emily started losing her hair and today, April 10th it got drastically worse, so she asked to shave it off. She was super devastated, but also happy to see everyone was shaving their hair with her. She’s the kind of person that sees the good in bad moments and will always have a smile on no matter the pain. 


The help and support we receive from you will go towards medical expenses as bills have started pilling. And to gas and food due to traveling two and half hours to Omaha, Nebraska Children’s hospital every week. Also, we have been and will continue missing a lot of work, due to taking Emily to her treatment every week. 

In moments like this anything helps not only financially, but prayers and positive thoughts for Emily and our family. We are truly grateful for all the support and love we are receiving and will continue to receive. Emily is especially excited to see how much love from everyone she is receiving.
