Help Our Sweet Doberman Rose Fight Kidney Disease

Our beautiful 1-year-old Doberman, Rose, is fighting for her life after being diagnosed with severe kidney disease. She’s still just a young girl with so much love to give, and we’re doing everything we can to help her through this.

We first met Rose as a tiny foster puppy. She was adopted out, but right before her first birthday, we saw a post from her owners saying they needed to rehome her. We couldn’t let her end up in an uncertain situation, so we brought her back home. It was clear right away that something wasn’t right with her health — she was thin, tired, and just not herself.

That was back in March, and since then, we’ve worked hard to get her healthy again. With the help of our vet, special food, and lots of love, she gained about 15 pounds and was doing so well for a while. Her personality started to shine through again — goofy, affectionate, and so happy to be home where she belonged.

Sadly, her health has recently taken a turn. She’s been trembling, uncomfortable, and clearly not feeling well. Our vet confirmed that her kidney disease has worsened, and she now needs more advanced care and monitoring.

The costs of testing, medication, prescription food, and frequent vet visits are adding up quickly, and we’re running out of funds to keep up with her treatment. She may also need to be hospitalized if her condition continues to decline, which would add even more to her medical expenses.

Donations will go directly toward bloodwork, IV fluids, medications, hospitalization if needed, prescription diet, and follow-up care — everything that can help us give Rose the best possible chance.

We love Rose deeply and just want to give her the best shot at recovery. She’s fought so hard to get here, and we want to fight for her in return.
