On New Year’s Eve, our 7-year-old chihuahua was hit by a car, and in an instant our world changed. She is fighting to recover, and right now her ability to walk is uncertain. She is not like most chihuahuas. She is gentle, loving, and kind. She barely barks, loves to sing songs with her daddy, and play with her brother, Scrappy. Before our baby Zoraya arrived, she was the baby of our home and will always be our first baby.

Me and Arissa are hard-working people, but we recently bought our first home and used all of our savings on the house and home-related expenses. Now we are facing overwhelming emergency vet bills that we were not prepared for, and time is critical for her care.
