Help our sweet Charlie recover

My parents have been faced with a very difficult situation. Their “Charlie” the love of their life, had a fall which has resulted in a spinal cord injury that paralyzed his back legs. He is unable to walk and is suffering. Charlie was rescued from China where he was stolen and put in a slaughterhouse. My parents rescued him to have a companion and keep my dad active as he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. Charlie has brought so much joy to their lives and they are sick over this. The best outcome is for him to have surgery and this puts my parents in a very difficult position as they do not have the means to pay for this with my dad unable to work. If anyone is able and willing to help, it would mean the world to my family and ensure that Charlie gets the very best of care on his road to recovery.
