Blanca has been with us since day one, filling our home with love. Now we’re doing everything we can to give her more time, and we hope you’ll help us.

Blanca is our sweet 15-year-old Maltese, and she’s been part of our family since the day she was born. She came to us as a tiny newborn pup, and from that very first moment, she’s been our forever family. Through some of the hardest times in our lives, she’s been our little rock ❤️ the one constant who’s always there, tail wagging, full of love.

A few months ago, our Blanca was diagnosed with mast cell tumor cancer. We acted right away. She’s already had surgery to remove the tumor, and she bounced back with the same puppy-like energy she’s always had. She’s otherwise healthy and full of life, which is why we’re doing everything we can to keep her with us as long as possible.

The next step in her fight is Vinblastine IV chemotherapy. 8 treatments, each costing $520. Without it, the cancer could start to spread. With it, we have a real chance to stop it in its tracks, and maybe even eliminate it completely.

We’ve already drained our savings paying for her surgery and ongoing care. My husband recently went through two surgeries this year, which has set us back quite a lot financially with him not being able to work for months while healing. I’m also working full-time and looking to pick up a second job, but even with all of that, the cost of this next rounds of treatment is more than we can manage alone.

Blanca isn’t ready to slow down. She still greets us at the door, still plays, still lights up our days, and yes… still begs for food. We just want to give her the chance to keep doing all of that for as long as possible.

We've exhausted our savings, our credit cards, and sold all we could, including our car, to support Blanca as much as possible.
