Help our sweet Bear get better

If you know me, you also know my best friend Bear. He is the sweetest dog and has been by my side the past 5 years since I rescued him when he was a year old. There is nothing I wouldn’t do for him. Everyone who meets Bear immediately loves him because of his sweet soft nature.

3 weeks ago I noticed his breathing was laboured and had a warm nose. I brought him to my vet the next day and they put him on antibiotics but after a few days it didn’t help. That was the start of many many tests and we are currently on our 7th antibiotic. Bear has had everything from blood tests, X- Rays, ultrasounds, CT Scan, Biopsy of the lung (inconclusive answer) and the next test is more risky called a Bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) this procedure gives us a 75% chance of getting an answer.

The vet bill has exceeded over $12k currently and still climbing. Bear is currently admitted in the ICU at Guelph Veterinary College (OVC). He keeps fighting so I will keep fighting and will run test after test until we can get him better. Any donation or well wishes are much appreciated.
