This is our sweet boy Bubs. Bubba San, Grumbledore, Grumble Bug, Happy Tail, Love Bug, Bobos, Sweet Face, all the names. We rescued him in the summer of 2021 and was told that he was between 4 -5 years old. He's come so far from being found under a truck in San Bernadino. He's learned to not only trust other dogs, he's learned to trust and believe in himself. He's been our heart and soul ever since we saw his picture on the rescue site and it's hard to believe he hasn't been with us forever. Even harder to imagine him not in our lives.

He had an ultrasound because they found a mass of fluid in his abdomen that they were hoping had to do with his spleen. We got the results back and they were not good. It's a cancerous mass on his kidneys. So now we head to our next steps, which will be costly. He needs a CT, surgery consult and then, if possible, surgery and/or chemo. It's already costly with just the ultrasound. We wish we could afford it ourselves but right now it's not possible. We know times are tough all over and are very appreciative of anything we receive.
