Hi everyone, I never thought I would be writing something like this, but our family needs a little help right now. Ella is our 12-year-old girl and one of the sweetest dogs you could ever meet. She actually started as my husband Mike’s dog long before we met, but the moment I came into their lives I completely fell in love with her too. When Mike would go to work, I used to “steal” Ella and keep her with me because I loved spending time with her so much. She’s always been incredibly friendly, gentle, and loving not just with us but with her dog siblings too. She’s the kind of dog that just brings calm and happiness wherever she is.

Recently we discovered that Ella has a large tumor that needs to be surgically removed. The vet believes surgery could give her a couple more good years with us, but the cost of the procedure and medical care is more than we can comfortably handle right now. Anyone who knows Mike knows how much Ella means to him. She has been by his side for so many years, and the thought of losing her when there’s a chance we could help her is incredibly hard.
