Our cousin, Rebecca, was given devastating news - that she has metastasized stage 4 breast cancer. She is only 30 years old, and a young wife and mother, with a beautiful baby girl named Tiferet. Her doctors have told her she needs to fight for her life. We ask for everyone's well wishes and thoughts as she battles to get well. For prayers, her name is Rivkah Esther bat Naomi.
Her cousins, aunts and uncles are all working together to set up this Go Fund Me to help her financially so that Rebecca and her family do not need to worry about money as they focus instead of taking care of her and Tiferet.
Please help Rebecca, a generous, spirited and loving young woman, by contributing, whether in a modest or momentous way. Some funds will go toward her cancer treatment and related costs. Other funds will go towards her family's living expenses so that Rebecca can focus on healing.

The extended-Delshad family of New Jersey/New York (Rebecca's cousins, aunts, and uncles), started this campaign out of our love for Rebecca and our understanding of the community's love and desire to support her.
Distribution to Rebecca:
Rebecca will receive distribution as the beneficiary directly through GoFundMe. We are talking with family members who are tax attorneys to determine the best account to set up so that Rebecca (and her family members who have received direct donations) do not experience tax or other penalties with the distribution. For now, the money is sitting within GoFundMe and will not be withdrawn until we have this in place.
Questions on Direct Payment to Rebecca or the Organizers (including PayPal):
We ask that you solely use the GoFundMe. While we appreciate the requests for direct PayPal or Venmo transfers - either to Rebecca, her immediate family, or the organizers - we cannot facilitate such payments through this campaign at this time. We cannot do this for several reasons: (1) We want Rebecca herself focused on healing, and not on having to respond to people's individual messages or transferring funds, (2) Rebecca's immediate family (her parents, siblings, and husband) have also been overwhelmed with messages, (3) for the extended family, we won't be able to keep track of donations, and for both our security and yours, we prefer you use the GoFundMe, and (4) the GoFundMe campaign will allow you and others to maintain an audit file of how the money was collected and distributed.
