Help our Superman, Aden

Hi! I’m a family friend of the Fletchers and they are in need of some assistance! Aden has been an inspiration since the day he and his twin sister surprised Jenn & Eronn being born at 27 weeks gestation! Both weighing in at just over 1 pound each! Addi has flourished and Aden has always struggled. BUT ALWAYS WITH A SMILE ON HIS FACE! In his short life so far, he has endured 45 surgeries (3 in the last 52 days). This current hospital stay has proven to be lengthy and quite the challenge.

He was originally admitted mid October for a routine foot surgery. That surgery went well, but an unpredicted, severe bowel obstruction earned him an emergency surgery shortly after his foot surgery where he had 2” of intestine removed (after many inches prior to that in 2019). He was discharged home but for less than 24 hours when he had to return to the hospital for severe stomach pain. It was discovered he has air trapped in his intestines so the doctors worked tirelessly to help alleviate that pain!!

He has been in the hospital over Halloween, Thanksgiving and now it looks like he will be there for Christmas.

It has become quite the financial burden on his parents. They have a home and other children to keep on top of priorities as well! Eronn has continued working and living at the hospital only going home once a week. Jenn spends as much time as possible there but needs to be home for Addi too.
