Hello! I’d love to introduce you to one of the most incredible women I know—my mom, Barbara.

Barbara is a 9/11 survivor. A breast cancer survivor. And now, she is courageously facing the fight of her life: Stage IV metastatic colon cancer.

Most people would wonder how one person could endure so much. But if you know my mom, you know that giving up has never been an option.

If there’s one word that describes her, it’s strength.

Through every challenge life has placed in her path, she has met it with grace, resilience, and an unwavering determination to keep going. She fights every single day with a smile on her face. Even on her hardest days, she continues to put others before herself, offering love, kindness, and encouragement to everyone around her. She has the biggest heart of anyone I’ve ever known, and anyone who knows her would say the same.

To me, she’s not just my mom—she’s my best friend, my biggest supporter, and my superhero. She continues to show me what true courage looks like every single day. Despite everything she’s facing, she still finds reasons to laugh, to love, and to make everyone around her feel cared for. Her strength inspires me more than words can ever express.

Now, it’s our turn to be there for her.

As Barbara undergoes treatment, the financial burden continues to grow. Between medical bills, medications, travel to appointments, and everyday living expenses, the costs have become overwhelming. We want to ease that burden so she can focus on what matters most—continuing her fight, spending precious time with the people she loves, and making every day count.
